Mar**** went on to say that he is the “highest point of contact” within dell that I could speak to in regards to this and whatever he says is the final call. I followed “v0jtek’s” instructions on Reddit and managed to resolve the issue on both laptops. This was a wide spread issue which I would’ve though Dell should’ve taken responsibility for but clearly not. The tech team were unable to help me at all and were adamant to get the pc in to their depo to then be charged for a replacement motherboard. Other people were experiencing the same issues were Dell Command was installing the incorrect version of bios without anything popping up with errors stating that the bios version is incorrect for this system, this caused multiple issues. The end result of that phone call was that the company had to pay no matter who’s fault it was as the laptops are out of warranty.
